    Hi Yoroh HAHA,

I understand how concerning it is to receive a notification that your email address was changed and an unfamiliar authentication app was added.

Could you clarify whether you can still sign in to the account on any device or browser? Also, where did you see that an authentication app had been added? Was it mentioned in the security email, or can you see an unfamiliar app under your account’s security methods?

If you can still access the account on any device, please immediately change the password, review the security information and recent sign-in activity and remove anything you do not recognize.

If you can no longer sign in, please use the Microsoft account Sign-in Helper or follow the steps in Recover a hacked or compromised Microsoft account.

Please note that this is a public user-to-user forum. I cannot verify account ownership, accept identity documents, or access and change account information. For your privacy, please do not post your email address, phone number, verification codes, recovery codes, or identity documents here. Thank you so much for your understanding.

Note: Please follow the steps in our documentation to enable e-mail notifications if you want to receive the related email notification for this thread.
