I did not receive a product key when I digitally downloaded windows 11

Question

I just built a new PC. I went to the Microsoft website, bought a fresh copy of Windows 11, they displayed the product key for a second then it disappeared when I hit download now I can't get it back.

I have the fresh install ready to go, the guides and AI have been very unhelpful and there is no key in my order history or anywhere else.

I also did not received an email with my key or a receipt for my purchase, there's nothing in my spam folder and all the other emails went through just fine. All I have is completed next to my order.

How do I get the key?

The key usually comes in a separate email after confirmation email, and this email can arrive up to 48 hours later.

However, it is also digital license, so your Microsoft account iself can work as license.

If it has been 48 hours, you can contact support to ask for the key as well.

To get help, open the "Get Help" app on your computer (just search for it in the Start menu). or go to https://support.microsoft.com/contactus, Type "Billing" and press Enter. On the next screen, click "Contact support" at the bottom of the page, then choose "Windows" > "Manage my subscription". You’ll then see the option to chat with a Microsoft support agent.
