My laptop can not update to 26300.9032

I am currently struggling with an issue. I am on build 26300.8935 on the Experimental channel. My laptop wants to update to 26300.9032 but it fails. I have tried unplugging EVERYTHING, my fingerprint reader, my mouse dongle, my second monitor, and even my power cord. All to no joy. What else can I try? Or should I just wait until another update comes out and bypass this one?

Hi Don,

That's a very generic error that can

mean many things.

Please check that all your Drivers are up to date,

including BIOS.

Delete the Download folder and try the update again.

Unfortunately, that didn't work either. I deleted the folder, checked for any driver/bios updates, there was one for my Nvidia gpu, and unplugged any accessories. Then redownloaded the entire update and installed it. Same problem, and same error code. Hopefully, once a new update is released, the new one will work.

in Update History?

When is it failing, download or install?

Do you have any 3rd party AntiVirus?

Your PC can't update without power!!!

I only tried updating once without power, just to eliminate that possibility. The error code is 0xc1900101, and it goes all the way through download, and installs to 100%. Then when I log back into windows, it shows the error on the update screen. The only anti-virus I have is windows defender, and I even tried disabling that at one point. I even went through the steps to reset widows update and it still has the same problem. It has me puzzled.
