Hello,

To cut it short ive been in a battle to recover my account after a hack since microsoft locked it after being recovered. Since then its been a 3 month tug of war between me making a new case every time my previous cases were closed (which was always), ignored (happened alot), and just absolutely lied to by the support team. Im tired of this circling and back and forth and I just no longer know what to do since every case I make whether its old or new gets thrown in the trash.

All i ask is what do i do, im tired of all these forms and lying so what do i ACTUALLY have to do to unlock this stupid account all for the reason to play minecraft with younger family memebers.

    Hi FUZE Hostage,

I'm sorry you've been dealing with this for so long. Three months of repeated account recovery attempts, closed cases, and having to start over would be frustrating for anyone.

Unfortunately, Microsoft Q&A is a community forum and does not have access to Microsoft account data, security records, or the ability to unlock accounts. The people responding here cannot directly intervene in account recovery cases.

Based on what you've described, my recommendation would be:

    1. Stop creating new recovery/support requests for the same issue unless specifically instructed to do so.
    2. Locate the most recent case number and continue referencing that case when contacting support.
    3. Ask the support representative to review the complete history of the account recovery attempts and provide a clear explanation of what verification requirement is still not being met.
    4. If the account contains Minecraft purchases, contact Minecraft Support as well and retain any purchase receipts, transaction IDs, or proof of ownership that may help establish account ownership.
    5. Keep a record of all case numbers, dates, and support responses so you can provide a complete timeline if the case is escalated.

If the account was originally compromised and then locked by Microsoft's security systems after recovery, support may be requiring additional ownership verification before they can restore access. In those situations, agents are often limited by security policies and cannot manually bypass the verification process.

While that's probably not the answer you were hoping for, the best path forward is to focus on a single active case and request a formal escalation review rather than continuing to open new cases.

I hope you're able to get this resolved soon and get back to playing Minecraft with your family.
