Microsoft 365 features that help users manage their subscriptions, account settings, and billing information.
Hi @Simon Bell,
Thank you for your post. Since you've posted in the For Business category, I'd like to gather a few more details to better understand the situation.
- Which Microsoft 365 business subscription do you have?
- When you try to send an email, do you receive any error message? If so, could you share a screenshot or the exact error?
- Does the same issue occur when using Outlook on the web (OWA)?
- Are any other services included in your subscription affected, or is the issue limited to email?
- Are you able to sign in to the Microsoft 365 Admin Center?
If you're able to access the Microsoft 365 Admin Center, could you please navigate to Billing > Your products and let me know the status of your subscription(s)?
If the subscription shows Expired or Disabled instead of Active, please try selecting Reactivate subscription and choose your new payment method to see whether the reactivation completes successfully.
Additionally, please go to Users > Active users, select your account, and check Licenses and apps to confirm that an Exchange Online or Microsoft 365 license is still assigned.
If the subscription has been successfully reactivated, please allow some time for the email service to be restored. However, if the subscription is active and the license is assigned correctly, but email is still not working after 24 hours, I would recommend opening a support request through Help & support, as Microsoft may need to review the subscription and billing status on the backend.
Please review the above and let me know if you have any updates or if anything is unclear. I'll be happy to assist further.
