Hi everyone,

I am seeking advice on a persistent issue I’m having with a Microsoft 365 6-month subscription token.

The Situation:

I was provided with a 6-month subscription token to replace a canceled subscription. After attempting to redeem it, the process failed. The system now indicates that the token was already redeemed on August 10th, 2026; however, my Microsoft account status has not changed, and I am unable to use the subscription or share it as intended.

What I have tried so far:

I have been in contact with Microsoft Support multiple times since August 10th.

I have followed their standard troubleshooting steps, including attempting the redemption link in an Incognito/In-Private browser session.

The issue persists across these attempts, and the support team has yet to provide a functional solution beyond repeating basic troubleshooting steps.

My Request:

Has anyone encountered a scenario where a token shows as "redeemed" but fails to apply to the account? I have already requested an escalation to a supervisor via email, but I’m hoping to find if there are any known workarounds or if there is a specific department I should contact to get this resolved.

Any guidance or similar experiences would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks,

Sajid Hossain Shimanto

    Hi Md. Sajid Hossain Shimanto,

I really wish I could assist you directly on this issue. However, the behavior you're experiencing is tied to back‑end systems and service functionality, and unfortunately, we don't have the authority or access required to investigate or make changes at that level.

Please note that this is a user-to-user support forum. Moderators, contributors including external Microsoft employees cannot directly intervene in Microsoft product features or access back-end systems. Our role is limited to providing technical guidance on reported issues, requests, or ideas.

Given these limitations, the most appropriate avenue for product changes or feature requests is to contact Microsoft Support.

Thank you for your understanding, and I hope the support team can resolve this for you soon.
