Hello, I need to update my legal name on my Microsoft Learn profile so it correctly matches my official ID, since the system is asking me to contact Credentials Support to complete the change. Could you please assist me with this process? Thank you.

To update the legal name on a Microsoft Learn profile:

1. Sign in to the Learn profile that needs the change.
2. Open Settings in the profile.
3. Follow the prompts for updating Legal Name.
4. If the profile shows a message to contact Credentials Support, submit a support request through Credentials Support.

Important details:

• The legal name is used for identity verification for Microsoft Certification exams and must match the government-issued ID used at the exam appointment.
• If an exam has already been registered, changing the legal name requires Microsoft support approval.
• When submitting the support request, include the Learn Username from Learn Settings and attach screenshots of any error message or issue.
• For the support form, select:
  • Product family: Learning
  • Product or Service: Microsoft Credentials
  • Type of Support: Professional No Charge
  • Preferred contact method: Email
• Credentials support is provided by email, not phone.
