Hi, I don't know but there was suddenly a thin blue vertical line in the center of my screen. I already tried to restart it and check the display resolution, but the line was still therea192afba-f0f2-45d2-8c66-b1e4aa0792fb

    Hi anon

Make a screenshot of your desktop and post it here.
If in the resulting image there is no crossing line, the problem is with your monitor.

A thin vertical line that stays after a restart is often either a display driver issue or a physical screen problem.

    Try this in order:

    1. Update the display driver
      • In the taskbar search box, type Device Manager and open it.
      • Expand Display adapters.
      • Right-click the display adapter and select Update driver.
    2. If the problem started after Windows Update, roll back the display driver
      • In Device Manager > Display adapters.
      • Right-click the adapter > Properties.
      • Open the Driver tab.
      • Select Roll Back Driver > Yes.
      • Restart the device.
      • Note: this requires administrator privileges, and the option is only available if a previous driver exists.
    3. Uninstall and let Windows reinstall the driver
      • In Device Manager > Display adapters.
      • Right-click the adapter > Properties.
      • Open the Driver tab.
      • Select Uninstall Device.
      • If available, select Attempt to remove the driver for this device or Delete the driver software for this device.
      • Restart the device. Windows will try to reinstall the driver.
      • Note: uninstalling drivers requires administrator privileges.

If the line is still there after those steps, the screen may have a hardware fault. A similar accepted Microsoft Q&A case indicates that when a line remains independently of normal Windows troubleshooting, the screen should be checked for hardware repair.
