WHEN ONLINE ON MY TOP TOOLBAR THERE IS A DOWN FACING ARROW WITH A LINE BELOW IT. EVER SINCE IT APPEARED WHEN i TRY TO DOWNLOAD ANYTHING IT VISIBLY MOVES TO THE ICON. IF I CLICK THE ICON IT OPENS WITH A LIST OF ITEMS DOWNLOADED. IF I CLICK THE FILE IMAGE NEXT TO THE TITLE OF THE DOWNLOAD. IT SAYS SHOW IN FOLDER. IF I CLICK ON IT THE LIST OF FOLDERS OPENS AND IF I CLICK ON THE DOWNLOAD NOTHING HAPPENS. THE SECOND ICON IS A SQUARE WITH AN ARROW POINTING OUT OF IT. IF I CLICK ON THE SQUARE NOTHING HAPPENS. WHAT IS WRONG?

The downwards facing arrow with a line is the Downloads button, if you are unable to open a file from the resulting menu on that button, open File Explorer, go to your Downloads button and try opening the file you downloaded from there.

The square with the arrow pointing out of it is the Share button, clicking that button should open a share dialog with multiple choices, are you logged into your browser, and also, what browser are you using.

is your Downloads button. It changes to show you the progress of your download. When you click on it, you will see the history of your recent downloads. All this is a normal part of the Chrome browser.
