Your church's IT folks may likely need to setup DMARC with their DNS provider and their Exchange service. I looked up the MX (mail server) records and found that it was not setup. You can also add your church as a "Safe Sender", so even if they don't fix it, by setting up DMARC, their emails will not go to your spam. See https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/outlook/mail/add-recipients-to-the-safe-senders-list-in-outlook for details on how to add them as a safe sender.

    Hello

Without reviewing the internet message header for this spam email, there's no way for anyone to tell you with confidence why it was flagged as spam.

Please use the instructions here: https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/outlook/view-internet-message-headers-in-outlook

Copy and paste the internet message header for one of the emails in the spam folder from this sender, then share here. Please make sure you edit to remove theirs and your email address to protect your privacy.

Once I review the content, I would have a better idea explaining to you why it was flagged as spam, so I don't have to guess or assume.

If messages from GABC.org are going to Junk in Outlook.com or Outlook on the web, use these steps:

    1. Open the Junk Email folder and find a message from that domain.
    2. Select It’s not junk for the message.
    3. Go to Settings > Mail > Junk email.
    4. Under Safe senders and domains, select Add safe sender.
    5. Enter GABC.org or the specific sender address, then select OK and Save.
    6. Also check Blocked senders and domains and remove that domain or sender if it was added there by mistake.
    7. If mail is still being moved incorrectly, check Settings > Mail > Rules for any rule that sends messages to Junk or Deleted Items.

    Useful notes:

    • Messages from addresses or domains on the safe senders list won’t be moved to the Junk Email folder.
    • In Outlook.com, messages in Junk are automatically deleted between 10 and 30 days after they arrive.
    • If the sender is legitimate, marking messages as Not junk also helps improve filtering.
