I have completed my AZ-400 DevOps exam including the pre-requisite AZ-204 but I have not received the Azure DevOps Expert Certification.

Exams are not certifications. The AZ-400 exam is only part of the requirements for the Azure DevOps Engineer Expert certification. You must also hold an active Azure Administrator or Azure Developer Associate certification.
I have an active Azure Developer Associate certification which I received from completing the AZ-204 as stated in my question.
Is the certification active ie has it been renewed and is everything on the same Learn profile?
Also has either of the associate or expert certifications previously expired and you have retaken the exam?
Yes I previously had the DevOps Expert Certification back in 2024 but it had expired. I then retook the AZ-400 exam last month and I passed. I assumed the credential would now appear as current but it still shows the old expired credentials. Any guidance would be highly appreciated!
OK sometimes this happens if an expert certification has previously expired and the qualifying exam is retaken. It needs a manual fix on the back end to update the certification status.
You will need to contact Microsoft Credentials support https://aka.ms/credentials-support explaining that your expert certification expired, you retook the exam, but the expert certification has not been awarded again.
Exams are not certifications.
