Trouble activating product key for Office

Hi there

I'm having trouble activating my Office 2024 Professional Plus, licensed for 3 computers, on the first device. Purchased online from reseller and I have received the product key, seemed OK but I keep coming up against a screen telling me 'there are technical issues, please try again later' after selecting the download (64 or 32 bit). Doesn't matter what time or day I've tried to do this - is there a way to check that the product key is valid?

    Hello,

    Who's the reseller you purchased this license from? Pro Plus is volume license, not retail license. If you only have 3 licenses, it doesn't sound like you were properly set up as volume license/contract. Then it means the reseller sold them via channel that violates Microsoft's licensing terms. You would need to ask for Office Home 2024, or Office Home & Business 2024, and you need to steer away from any license with the name Pro Plus, LTSC or Standard.
