Amazon gift cards may not be available for redemption even if enough points are available. Rewards offers vary by country/region, and some gift cards are not always available through Microsoft Rewards. They can also be unavailable because they are out of stock or temporarily removed from the redeem list.
If redemption is failing, check these common causes:
- Confirm the Amazon gift card is currently visible on the Redeem page.
- Make sure redemption is being done in the same region where the Microsoft Rewards account was signed up.
- Do not use a VPN while redeeming.
- Use a mobile or landline phone number for verification, not a VoIP number.
- If too many incorrect verification attempts were made, wait 48 hours before trying again.
- If the phone number has already been used across too many Microsoft Rewards accounts, a different phone number may be required.
If the gift card is not listed at all, Microsoft support cannot provide restock dates. Check the Redeem page regularly for availability. If the issue is with redemption rather than availability, contact Microsoft Rewards Support.
