Can I reschedule/switch to another exam if the original voucher expiration date has passed?

Hello Microsoft Support Team,

I scheduled the DP-600 exam prior to August 12, 2026, using an event voucher with an expiration date listed as 12-Aug-2026.

I would like to know if it is possible to switch this appointment to a different exam (such as DP-203 / AI-102). Since the voucher expiration date has already passed, will cancelling my current appointment invalidate the discount, or can support assist in transferring/reissuing the voucher for another exam?

I have not cancelled my current appointment yet to avoid losing the voucher.

Thank you for your guidance!

You can't change the exam you have booked without cancelling the exam appointment. If your voucher (I assume it was from AI Skills Fest) has passed its date, you will not be able to reuse it, so you cannot change the exam without losing your voucher. The date on a voucher cannot be changed.

PS Both DP-203 and AI-102 exam have been retired,

No. Event vouchers must be redeemed and the exam must be taken before the voucher expiration date. Voucher expiration extensions are not permitted, and expired vouchers are not replaced. Voucher codes are also program-specific and in some cases exam-specific, so switching a DP-600 booking to a different exam such as DP-203 or AI-102 after the voucher expiration date is not supported.

If the current appointment is cancelled after the voucher has expired, the discount should not be expected to transfer or be reissued. To change or cancel an exam appointment, use the Learn profile path: Profile > Credentials > Certifications, then select the exam appointment and choose Cancel or Reschedule. The appointment is then redirected to the exam delivery provider’s site.

If Pearson VUE cancelled the appointment, a used voucher should be reinstated automatically. If that does not happen, contact Pearson VUE support. For support issues with voucher eligibility or redemption, use Microsoft Credentials support.
