Microsoft 365 features that help users manage their subscriptions, account settings, and billing information.
Hi, @Noble Pro
A Microsoft 365 subscription expiring should not immediately delete the files in OneDrive. Microsoft states the files remain intact, but the OneDrive storage allowance drops back to the free limit which is 5GB only. Family members also lose the shared subscription benefits when the subscription expires.
Since you have renewed, first check that the subscription now shows as active under your Microsoft account: https://account.microsoft.com/services
To help narrow down the issue:
- When did the subscription expire, and when did you renew it?
- When you sign in to OneDrive Web https://onedrive.live.com are the files completely missing, or are they still visible but cannot be opened?
- Can the other family members still sign in to their own Microsoft accounts, and are they still listed in your Microsoft Family group?
