Emails from my new @outlook.com email address going to recipients' SPAM folders

I have recently set up at @outlook.com email address for my new business, and my emails are going directly to the SPAM folders of the people I'm sending them to. What can I do to make sure my emails aren't getting flagged as SPAM?

Thank you.

This is very common. It has happened to me whenever I start using a new outlook.com account.

Because outlook.com email addresses are so often used by Spammers (either my hijacking an exiting account or creating massive number of new accounts) almost every email service will send emails from an outlook.com address it has never seen before to Junk/Spam. Even other Microsoft email servers will do this.

Here are some general guidelines on improving your "Reputation"
    https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/outlook/sender-support-in-outlook-com

What's worked for me is simple, but takes time.

Ask your recipients (via another channel) to please:

1 -- Ensure that your email is not on their Blocked Senders list and to add your email to their Safe Senders list.

2 -- Never put your email on their Blocked Senders list or mark it as Junk. This puts a "black mark" on your email address with their email hosting service and pretty much guarantees that mail you send to others who use that hosting service will end up in their Spam. If they don't want to receive any new email from you, ask them to use your Unsubscribe Link (if you have one) or to simply request that you stop emailing them.

3 -- Space out your emails. Send fewer emails in a short period of time. If the hosting services see a sudden high-volume spike, to them this signals spam behavior.

    Hello

Without reviewing the email header data, there's no way anyone can tell you for sure why it was flagged as spam. Anything I can answer would be based on guesses and assumptions only.

Reach out to one of the recipients, ask them to locate the email in the spam folder, then find the email internet header/source data, and share with you. Then you can share here. When you share, please make sure you edit to remove personal information, such as yours and their email address to protect your privacy.
