Artifact Signing verification link was already consumed on first use

I am blocked while completing a Public Trust organization identity validation for Azure Artifact Signing (formerly Trusted Signing).

I created a replacement validation request after correcting the organization’s business address. The request changed to Action Required, and I received the “Complete your identity validation process” email.

On my first manual click of the verification button, the destination immediately displayed:

“No Access — Sorry, this link has been used already.”

I never reached or completed the identity-verification flow. The Azure Portal still says that verification must be completed. An email-security scanner may have consumed the one-time URL.

I have only the Basic Azure support plan, so the portal directed me here. Could a Microsoft moderator please contact me through Private messages and route this request to the validation team to reset or reissue the verification link?

Update: this issue is now resolved.

Although the verification link initially reported that it had already been used—and later returned a 504 Gateway Timeout—the identity-validation request eventually completed successfully without Microsoft reissuing the link.

The Azure portal now shows the Artifact Signing account as complete, the certificate profile is Active, and we have successfully signed and verified our Windows executables.

No further action is required on this request. It appears the validation completed asynchronously after the errors were displayed.
