How to fix old inbox emails that have disappeared

My old inbox emails disappeared. They are present in the sent mailbox only. How do I fix this for the inbox emails?

Who provides your mailbox - that is, what follows the @ in your address? How do you access the mailbox? This forum is dedicated to Microsoft 365. Do you have a subscription to that? Which operating system do you use? Have you tried searching for the older mail? When was the last time you were able to access it? Are you using a computer or a mobile device? If you use a mobile device, have you tried accessing the mailbox using a web browser on a computer? Details matter. Please describe exactly what you've tried and exactly what happens when you try It.
