What Android device model are you using?
What version of Android is installed?
What are the versions of the Outlook and Word apps?
Does the issue occur with all Word documents or only specific files?
If you save the attachment locally and then open it directly from the Word app (instead of opening it from Outlook), does the same issue occur?

In the meantime, please try the following troubleshooting steps:

1.We’ve been able to reproduce this issue on the Lenovo devices, OPPO, Xiaomi, and Samsung tablets we’re currently using.

3.Outlook :5.2632.1,Word:16.0.20228.20090 （downloaded from Chinese app stores）

4.We have tested several documents so far; the issue occurs randomly, and it is particularly easy to reproduce in documents that contain tables and multiple images.

5.The first time I opened the file in Microsoft Outlook, this issue occurred (not just when opening a Word document from Outlook).

After saving it, the issue generally did not reoccur when I opened it a second time.

By the way:

We tried using the same method to open the document in WPS (another Word app) and didn't encounter this issue with Microsoft Word.
