While attempting to print, we are encountering a critical exception, and users are currently unable to print any documents from the HIS application.

The issue started after the latest security update implemented in August. Could you please confirm the expected date for the security update/fix that will address this issue?

    Hi Dhinu,

This issue is caused by the August .NET Security update (KB5120708).

And Microsoft is investigating this issue. No ETA has been released for the fix.

Until Microsoft fixes this issue, please do one of the following.

    • Replace the Cambria font with something like Arial or any font in your document.

    (or)

    • Uninstall the KB5120708 update to restore functionality. However, since KB5120708 is a security update, uninstalling it should be the last option. To uninstall it, run the command: wusa /uninstall /kb:5120708 from the Run dialog or Command Prompt.
