    Hello @Jason Jin ,

Changing who bills and manages your licenses doesn't move or affect your tenant's data: mailboxes, SharePoint, OneDrive, and Teams content all stay exactly where they are, tied to your tenant, not to the reseller. You have two paths :

    Move to Microsoft Direct billing:

You buy licenses straight from Microsoft, no reseller involved. Simplest long-term option if you don't need reseller-provided support.

    • Sign in to admin.microsoft.com as Global Admin
    • Go to Billing > Your products to check current subscription status
    • Follow Microsoft's official guide: 'Resolve subscriptions detached from CSP partners' (search that title on learn.microsoft.com)

Transfer to a new CSP reseller:

Keep working with a partner/reseller for billing and support, just switch providers.

    • Find a new CSP through the Microsoft partner directory (search 'Microsoft CSP partner directory')
    • Ask the new partner to send you a reseller relationship invitation
    • As Global Admin, accept the invitation in Microsoft 365 Admin Center

A few important things to watch for,

    • Avoid a licensing gap. The key is to purchase the new subscription and apply it before letting the old one lapse
    • Confirm you're still Global Admin. Since Bluehost can no longer manage your tenant, make sure you (not Bluehost) hold Global Administrator rights in admin.microsoft.com — you'll need that role to do either path above.
    • Review the "detached subscription" state. Because Bluehost lost Partner Center access, your subscription is now considered "detached" — this requires action on your side to reconnect it, either to direct Microsoft billing or a new CSP. Microsoft's official article for this exact scenario is titled "Resolve subscriptions detached from CSP partners" on learn.microsoft.com — worth reading in full before you start

Recommended first step: Log in to admin.microsoft.com → Billing → Your products right now and check the status shown there. That tells you whether you're already in "detached" state or whether you have time to plan the transfer before the July 31, 2026 cutoff Bluehost mentioned.

I hope I have addressed your query. Please don't forget to vote if it answers your question so the people having the same issuing will have the answer.
