You can update your Legal name on your Microsoft Learn profile under Settings https://learn.microsoft.com/users/me/settings

If you have an exam booked, you will be shown a message and link to contact Microsoft Credentials support https://aka.ms/credentials-support

Since Pearson VUE asked you to reschedule the exam and update your name because of the government photo ID mismatch, the important thing is to make sure the name on your Microsoft Certification profile and your government-issued ID match exactly.

If the name has already been corrected in your Microsoft Learn profile but Pearson VUE is still displaying the old name, the Pearson VUE registration information may not have synchronized yet.

    I recommend:

Do not schedule or attempt the exam again until the name is corrected in Pearson VUE.

Sign in to your Microsoft Learn certification profile and verify that your legal name is correct.

Check your Pearson VUE exam dashboard again after the profile update.

If the old name is still displayed, contact Microsoft Certification Support and explain that Pearson VUE specifically instructed you to update your name because of the government ID issue.

Include your Pearson VUE candidate ID (MS1101492540), exam name (SC-900), scheduled exam date/time, and a screenshot showing the incorrect name in Pearson VUE.

Ask Microsoft Certification Support to confirm that the corrected name has been synchronized with Pearson VUE before you reschedule.

Because this involves your identity information, I would not post your full legal name, date of birth, government ID number, or other personal information publicly in the forum.

The key point is that changing the name in Microsoft Learn and seeing the change reflected in Pearson VUE can involve separate systems, so Microsoft Certification Support is the appropriate escalation if Pearson VUE still shows the old information.
