Hi Team,
I have a shared folder in share point where my team used to use Analyze in excel file which is connected to AAS Model.
How can I solve this issue.
Checks I performed:

  1. I have access to AAS Model
  2. My Credentials are working. Separatly.
  3. downloaded and checked. not working
  4. both credentials are same for sharepoint and AAS
  5. cleared all cache and tried.

Thanks in advance.

    Hi @PowerIQ,

This appears to be related to WAM (Web Account Manager), the Windows authentication broker that Office uses to obtain sign-in tokens.

As a first step, please try the workaround mentioned in the error message itself. In Excel, go to File > Options > Security, disable Enable enhanced sign-in experience, completely close Excel, then reopen the workbook and sign in again using your Organizational account.

You can also try clearing the existing data source permissions, then reopen the workbook and sign in again. Please refer to: Manage data source settings and permissions (Power Query) | Microsoft Support.

If the issue persists, I would suggest repairing the Microsoft Entra WAM BrokerPlugin by following the guidance in Authentication automatically fails in Microsoft 365 services - Microsoft Learn, specifically the section that applies to work or school accounts. After completing the repair steps, restart Windows and test the connection again.

Additionally, make sure both Excel and Windows are updated to the latest version.

Please take a look at these suggestions and let me know the outcome. If you have any updates , feel free to post them in the comments and I'll be happy to continue assisting.
