I have two problems on my device.

1st one – My laptop is restarting repeatedly. I have tried many various ways to fix it, even tried to reset my Windows, but my laptop is still restarting. It was happening a lot before (occurs within 2 min). Now I've reset my Windows, and it happened twice in a day. I am worried about hardware, and I've even run some tests related to RAM, PROCESSOR and MEMORY. No problem in there. I can't even trace what could be wrong after running these tests.
2nd one – Because of the issue I've mentioned, my laptop is restarting a lot. My account is getting locked for 2 hours. Sign-in gets disabled for two hours; I can't do anything. I need a fix for both issues.
While typing this message, my device restarted.
Device name – HP EliteBook 840 g6
Windows 11.

    Hi, RITESH PANDEY

The two-hour message is a security lock on Windows Hello caused by repeated unexpected shutdowns. The main issue is the restarting, which can be caused by a driver, BIOS, software, overheating, or hardware fault.

Here are some suggestions you can try:

At the locked screen, connect the charger and leave the laptop powered on for the full two hours without restarting it. Then select Sign-in options and use your account password instead of the PIN. Once signed in, open Settings > Accounts > Sign-in options > PIN (Windows Hello) and reset the PIN.

To capture the restart error, search for View advanced system settings, select Startup and Recovery > Settings, then clear Automatically restart. The next crash should display a stop code. Take a photo of it.

Install all Windows updates, then use HP Support Assistant to install the latest BIOS, chipset, graphics, and power-management drivers specifically for the HP EliteBook 840 G6.

Test in Safe Mode. If it remains stable there, a driver or startup program is likely responsible.

Since Windows was already reset and the restarting continues, contact HP for a full motherboard, battery, SSD, and thermal inspection if these steps do not help.

Thank you for your patience in reading, I hope this information has been helpful to you.
