Sorry, something went wrong.

We’re not sure what happened, but refreshing the page may help, or trying again in a little while.

The “Sorry, something went wrong” message with a TraceId usually indicates a problem with the Microsoft account, invitation, or the Microsoft 365 Family service rather than an issue with the Office apps themselves. Similar Microsoft Q&A reports have occurred when accepting Microsoft 365 Family invitations.

    You can try the following:

Sign out of your Microsoft account and sign in again.

Open the invitation in an InPrivate/Incognito browser window and make sure you sign in with the Microsoft account that should receive the Family subscription.

Try another browser, such as Microsoft Edge or Chrome.

Ask the Family subscription owner to resend the invitation and then use the new invitation link.

Check that your Microsoft account isn't already a member of another Microsoft Family group, as this can interfere with joining another Family subscription.

If the problem continues, wait and try again later, since the TraceId can indicate a temporary service-side issue.

If this is happening while redeeming a product key rather than accepting a Family invitation, Microsoft recommends checking the account, region, browser cookies/JavaScript, and redemption status.

If none of these steps work, contact Microsoft Support and provide the TraceId (UhgHrxJFFE+tPF4f3), the time the error occurred, and the Microsoft account involved. The TraceId can help Microsoft investigate the failed request.
