Open Word.

At the top right of Word, log out of Office.

Restart (not shut down) your PC, then log back into Office, is your Office licence/subscription then recognized correctly.

If not, log into your Microsoft account on this link, is your Office licence listed correctly there, or if that is a subscription, check the expiry date listed on your subscription, is that listed correctly.

Hi @Abhiram Bomma

Step 1 :

press windows + R type winword / safe . then check working perfectly. suppose not working go step 2.

Step 2 :

1. Go to File → Options → Add-ins
2. At bottom: Manage → COM Add-ins → Go
3. Uncheck all add-ins
4. Restart Word normally
5. Enable add-ins one by one to find the culprit.

Step 3:

1. Open Word → File → Account
2. Click Sign out
3. Close Word completely
4. Restart your laptop
5. Open Word → Sign in again

Step 4:

Press Windows + R

%AppData%\Microsoft\Templates

1. Find Normal.dotm
2. Rename it to Normal.old
3. Restart Word

Step 5 :

1. Windows + R → type appwiz.cpl
2. Find Microsoft Office / Microsoft 365
3. Right-click → Change
4. Choose Quick Repair
