Hi there!

We're a tennis club and I have been unsuccessful in sending out emails' - newsletter specifically to our member base.
I have waited 24 hours, and I have tried to send emails out to smaller groups (no more than 25) and even tried to email our members one by one both with and without attachments. All to no avail.
What is the best way for me to send out to no more than 120 members?
It's a free outlook account that is approx 15 months old.

    Hi C Tennis Club,

Thank you for posting in the Microsoft Community.

Based on your description, it appears that your Outlook.com account may have reached a sending limit or triggered Microsoft's anti-spam protections. Even after waiting 24 hours, sending restrictions can sometimes remain in place, particularly if the account has recently been used to send newsletters or bulk emails.

    Since you've already tried:

    • Waiting more than 24 hours
    • Sending to smaller groups
    • Sending individual emails
    • Sending messages with and without attachments

the issue may not be related to the number of recipients in a single message.

To help narrow down the cause, could you please provide:

    1. The exact error message you receive when attempting to send.
    2. Whether you're using a personal Outlook.com/Hotmail/Live account or a Microsoft 365 business account.
    3. Whether you're able to send a simple test email to a single external recipient.
    4. Whether the same issue occurs when using Outlook on the web.

For sending newsletters to approximately 120 members, you may also want to consider a dedicated email marketing service, as personal Outlook accounts are not intended for bulk distribution and can be subject to sending limits.

I look forward to your reply.
