I just purchased Microsof 2024, and downloaded it. What do I do next? I still can't use any of my old Word documents. They don't respond to any prompts.

    Are you able to open Word, create a new document, add some text, then save the file, close the file, re-open the file and edit that document?

    If there is any error indicated, please provide a screenshot.

    What version of Office did you purchase, is that Office Home 2024 or Office Pro Plus 2024 and is that installed on a Windows PC or an Apple Mac computer.

    If you have installed Office on an Apple Mac computer, at the top left of your Desktop, click the Apple icon and select 'About this Mac', what version of MacOS is installed on your computer?
