    Hi, @Robert T. Williams

Please sign in to your Microsoft account and review these pages:

If there's nothing listed there, check order history:

    • Please sign in to your Microsoft account’s billing page at https://account.microsoft.com/billing/orders
    • Adjust the date range to include the purchase date.
    • Then click “Show details” under each order to see what the charge is for.
    • If it doesn’t look familiar, click “Order help” and then select “How to investigate a billing charge.” Follow the prompts to investigate the billing charges and find out more about them.

If you don’t see anything unusual, to help narrow down the issue:

    1. How did you get notified about the charge? (bank alert, email, etc.)
    2. What exactly does the charge description say in your statement?
    3. Do you have another Microsoft account (work, old email, family member) where your card might be added?

Click "Add comment" to let me know.

    Thanks!

Use the Microsoft billing investigation flow first:

    1. Open the Manage your payments page and select Investigate.
    2. Check whether the charge is caused by:
      • a Microsoft subscription with recurring billing enabled
      • a purchase by someone in the household using the card
      • a previously declined charge being retried
      • a pre-order or split order shipping
      • an in-app purchase from an app, game, or Office
    3. Also check Services & subscriptions to see whether a subscription is active and review the renewal or end date.
    4. If the charge was for a subscription that was already cancelled, confirm the cancellation was made more than 2 days before the billing date. If it was cancelled too close to the billing date, a payment may still have been taken.
    5. If the charge does not appear under the Microsoft account being checked, try any other personal Microsoft accounts that may have been used.
    6. If the charge is still not recognized, contact Microsoft Support through Contact Microsoft Support.
    7. If there is any sign the payment method was used without permission, contact the bank or payment provider immediately to prevent more charges.
