WHY COPILOT?: This app version is no longer supported Pick up right where you left off – your account and chats are moving over. You can continue to use Copilot on the web while we work on the latest Copilot app for Windows.

    Hi Jacob Unknown,

I understand that this message may be confusing. Microsoft is currently moving users from the older Copilot app to an updated experience, so this does not necessarily indicate a problem with your Windows device or account.

For now, please sign in with the same account at Copilot on the web to continue using Copilot. Most chats and eligible content should be transferred automatically.

You can also open Microsoft Store > Library > Get updates to check whether the latest Copilot app is available. If you do not see an update yet, please continue using the web version during the transition.

Please note that this is a user-to-user support forum. Moderators, contributors including external Microsoft employees cannot directly intervene in Microsoft product features or access back-end systems. My role is limited to providing technical guidance on reported issues, requests, or ideas.

I know this isn't the news you were hoping for, but I wanted to make sure you got the most accurate information about your situation. Thank you so much for your understanding.
