Using New Outlook on Windows for personal email, calendar, and contact management
Since your Cox.net mail still works on Yahoo.com, the mailbox itself is working. The “INTERACTIONREQUIRED” error usually means Outlook needs to authenticate the Yahoo-hosted Cox account again.
In New Outlook, go to Settings > Accounts > Your accounts, remove the Cox.net account from Outlook, then add it again. Removing it from Outlook does not delete the Yahoo mailbox.
If it still says “Something went wrong,” create a Yahoo app password and use that instead of your normal Yahoo password: https://help.yahoo.com/kb/SLN36637.html

For Cox.net accounts migrated to Yahoo, the settings are:
Incoming: imap.mail.yahoo.com, port 993, SSL/TLS
Outgoing: smtp.mail.yahoo.com, port 465 or 587, SSL/TLS
Username: your full @cox.net email address
Password: the Yahoo-generated app password
Yahoo specifically confirms that migrated Cox.net accounts may require an app password for Outlook.
