Using Classic Outlook on Windows for personal email, calendar, and contact management
Welcome to Microsoft Q&A forum
I understand how frustrating it is to have appointments duplicated after reconnecting, especially when one copy cannot be deleted. This appears to be an iCloud synchronization conflict rather than a normal duplicate import. First, please confirm whether the unwanted appointment can be deleted directly from iCloud from the web. If it can, allow Outlook to synchronize afterward.
If the problem continues, please try these steps:
- Back up any important calendar information.
- Close Outlook.
- Open iCloud for Windows and turn off Calendars and Contacts synchronization.
- Restart the computer, then enable the synchronization again.
- In Outlook, use Send/Receive > Refresh Folder.
It is also recommended to check Windows and iCloud for Windows are current, the PC’s date and time are correct, and the same Apple Account is being used.
To avoid further duplicates while troubleshooting, create iCloud appointments only while Outlook is online.
Hope this helps, please feel free to let me know if you need any further assistance
