In most cases, you should be able to reinstall Office from your associated account at https://account.microsoft.com/services .

Which specific Office 2019 product is this? For example, is it Office Home & Business 2019? Or something else?

In case activation fails, see https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/activation/activate-microsoft-perpetual-products-using-the-product-activation-portal .

For Office 2019, the supported reinstall path is to use the Microsoft account already linked to that copy of Office.

    1. Go to https://account.microsoft.com/services and sign in with the same Microsoft account that was used to activate Office 2019.
    2. Find the Office 2019 license and select Install.
    3. Run the downloaded installer. If Windows shows Do you want to allow this app to make changes to your device?, select Yes.
    4. When installation finishes, the message should say "You're all set! Office is installed now".
    5. Open Word or Excel. In most cases, Office activates automatically after accepting the license terms. If the Activation Wizard appears, follow the prompts.

If installation on the new computer is failing:

    1. Restart the new computer and try the install again.
    2. If it still fails, use the Office uninstall troubleshooter on the new Windows PC to remove any incomplete Office installation:
      • Open the uninstall tool: https://aka.ms/SaRA-officeUninstallFromPC
      • Select Open if prompted to open Get Help
      • Follow the prompts and restart the computer when asked
    3. After restart, reinstall Office 2019 again from https://account.microsoft.com/services.

    Important:

    • Run the uninstall troubleshooter on the same Windows PC where Office 2019 is failing to install.
    • The troubleshooter requires Windows 10 or higher.
    • If Office originally came preinstalled, the reinstall should still use the Microsoft account associated with that copy.
    • If the copy is a volume license version or came through a workplace program, installation can be different and IT support may be required.
