For most Microsoft certification exams, results are available within minutes after the exam, and the score report appears in the Learn profile within 24 hours. Exams with labs can take about 30 minutes to score. If the result is still missing after 2 days, use these steps:
- Sign in to Learn with the same personal Microsoft account used to schedule the exam.
- Open the profile menu, select Credentials, then Certifications.
- In Past exams, find the AZ-400 exam and select View details on provider site.
- On the exam provider dashboard, locate the exam and select View to open the score report.
If the exam was taken online and there was any issue after the exam, contact Microsoft Credentials support.
For the certificate: passing AZ-400 alone does not earn the certification. AZ-400 is part of the requirements for Microsoft Certified: DevOps Engineer Expert. An active Azure Administrator Associate (AZ-104) or Azure Developer Associate (AZ-204) certification is also required. If that prerequisite certification is not active, the certification badge/certificate will not appear even if AZ-400 was passed.
