Global Admin and Fabric Admin unable to create Power BI/Fabric support ticket — redirected to Home

We are unable to create a Power BI/Fabric technical support request for our organization.

The problem has been reproduced by multiple administrator accounts, including our Global Administrator and a Power BI/Fabric administrator.

When we attempt to create a support request through the Power BI/Fabric support experience, we can proceed through the support workflow, but when we attempt to submit the ticket, we are redirected back to the Power BI/Fabric Home page. No support request is created.

We have tried several alternative Microsoft support paths:

Power BI/Fabric support: We complete the support workflow, but submitting the ticket redirects us to Home without creating a case.

Power Platform Admin Center → Support: The support agent correctly determines that our issue concerns Power BI/Fabric and instructs us to use the Power BI/Fabric support experience, returning us to the same non-working route.

Microsoft Engage Center / Support for Business: We can access Support for Business, but when we select Power BI as the product, Microsoft displays the following message:

“Requests for this product are better served by a tailored experience. We are sending you to Fabric for assistance with this request.”

Selecting Go to Fabric therefore sends us back to the same support experience where ticket submission fails.

Global Administrator account: Our Global Administrator reproduced the same behavior, so this does not appear to be isolated to one administrator account.

Microsoft telephone support: We attempted to obtain assistance by phone. The automated support system directs us to the online professional support experience, which ultimately sends us back through the same support workflow.

As a result, we currently have no functioning path to create a Power BI/Fabric technical support request.

Our original reason for contacting support is a reproducible Power BI Service issue, but we cannot report that technical issue because we cannot successfully create a Power BI/Fabric support case.

Could a Microsoft moderator or support representative please help us determine whether there is a tenant-level Power BI/Fabric support entitlement, provisioning, or support-routing issue?

We specifically need Microsoft to verify why authorized administrators, including our Global Administrator, cannot create Power BI/Fabric support requests for our organization.

If tenant-specific information is required for investigation, please let us know how to provide it through a private channel. We will not post tenant IDs, administrator information, or other confidential organizational information publicly.

Thank you.

    Hi @Saul Solis

I'm sorry for the inconvenience. As for now, I could not log in to Fabric portal as well.

In the https://support.fabric.microsoft.com/support/, there is a degraded behavior to all regions. Microsoft stated that engineers are investigating the issue and an update will be provided soon.Screenshot 2026-08-27 at 23.35.45

My recommendation is to wait for a while until Microsoft has a new announcement. Then you can try to proceed with the ticket open process again.
