Hello,

I recently got divorced, however, my Microsoft Outlook email continues to title me as "mrs" in my. I have gone into my profile settings several times, changed my name (it was already correct without the "mrs"), and searched several other locations within my settings. I do not remember giving myself this title (although it has been several years) so I have no idea how to change it.

It is very annoying to see my email calling me "mrs" after I went through all the work to get this divorce.. please help me!!

    Hi,

I was wondering if you checked here?

    User's image

Also, In Classic Outlook, go to People/Contacts and search for your own email address. Open your contact card and check whether Title is set to Mrs. If it is, remove it and save the contact.

If you tell me exactly where the name appears for example, next to your name in the From field, in the Outlook profile at the top-right, or in the recipient's view of your emails, I might be able to help more.

    Hi,

Outlook.com syncs the name from https://account.microsoft.com/profile/edit-name page. Is it correct there?

Also, if you are using classic Outlook on Windows, the steps are different. Let me know if you are using Windows for the next steps.

I look forward to hearing from you to get the results of the troubleshooting.
