I need to chat with or talk with a live person to fix the phone number that is being used when I create a new ticket.

Every time I create a new ticket, Microsoft somehow includes my old phone number, a landline which went out of use years ago. When MS tries to contact me using that number, it fails. I have tried everything I know to locate and remove that wrong number. I desperately need help, ASAP, to resolve technical issues. I have a MS365 support contract. Please call or text me, or tell me in this question how I can resolve this issue.

My recommendation here would be to start an online chat via https://support.microsoft.com and click on Contact Us. Follow the instructions provided until you reach a person and explain the problem to them. They should be able to help from there.
