I am currently with IONOS using MS Exchange client but looking to tie it in with Office 365 subscription, is this possible?

    Hi @Michael Cox,

    Yes, this is possible.

If your Microsoft 365 subscription includes Exchange Online, you can migrate your mailbox from IONOS to Microsoft 365 and then update your domain's DNS records so that new email is delivered to Microsoft 365. The migration approach will depend on the type of mailbox provided by IONOS and the migration options available for your account. For example, an IMAP migration can move email messages, but it does not migrate calendars, contacts, or tasks.

To better understand your situation and provide more specific guidance, could you please let me know:

    • Which Microsoft 365 subscription you have?
    • Do you want to move the mailbox completely from IONOS to Microsoft 365, or only use your current IONOS mailbox in the Microsoft 365 Outlook app?
    • Is this for one mailbox or multiple users?

If you have a moment to provide a little more detail, I'd be happy to help clarify the available options and recommend the most suitable migration path for your scenario.

    Thank you for taking time.
