    Hello Alyric James,

    Welcome to Microsoft Q&A forum.

Since this is a public forum, we will hide your personal identifiable information, and I have sent that image of yours containing your personal identifiable information in a private message so we can work together to resolve the issue. Also, please check your private message in case you want to share another screenshot to avoid leaking your PII by click on the Message button.

Sorry but I i am not sure if I understand your question correctly, do you mean that you bought the game on another account not your current Xbox account? If that is the case, may I know what is preventing you from switching to your correct account? Please note that the Xbox app and Minecraft launcher use your Xbox profile, which is linked with your Microsoft Account.

    I'm waiting for your reply.

Minecraft Launcher sign-in uses the Microsoft/Xbox identity for the account that owns the game. If the launcher keeps returning to the Xbox-style sign-in, the usual fix is to make sure the same Microsoft account is signed in everywhere and that it is the account that actually owns the Minecraft license.

    Try this in order:

    1. On the PC where Minecraft worked before, open Microsoft Store.
      • Select the profile icon in the top-right.
      • Check which Microsoft account is signed in there.
      • That account is the best clue for which account owns the Minecraft license.
    2. On the current PC, sign out of these apps completely:
      • Minecraft Launcher
      • Microsoft Store
      • Xbox app
    3. Restart the PC.
    4. Sign back in using the same Microsoft account in this order:
      • Microsoft Store first
      • Xbox app next
      • Minecraft Launcher last
    5. In Microsoft Store, search for Minecraft and check whether it shows Owned or Install.
      • If it does, the license is on that account.
      • If it does not, a different Microsoft account likely owns the game.
    6. If a screen appears asking “Which account do you want to use?”, that means there are two Microsoft accounts using the same email address: a Personal account and a Work or school account.
      • Choose the correct one for Minecraft.
      • To stop that prompt, the personal Microsoft account can be renamed by changing the primary alias in Manage how you sign in.
    7. If the launcher still loops and the game was a gift, confirm the gift/redeem/purchase email and match that to the Microsoft account signed into Store, Xbox app, and Launcher.

Important: Minecraft cannot be signed in separately from the Xbox/Microsoft identity flow shown in the launcher. If the wrong gamertag appears, the launcher is signing into the wrong Microsoft account, not a separate Windows-only account.

If the game shows in Microsoft order history or Store as owned but the launcher still says to buy or keeps looping, that points to an account/license sync issue. In that case, contact Minecraft Support for entitlement verification.
