My HP laptop will not re-boot despite using the Bitlocker key i think it had an Update on the system earler that day Any help

Before we proceed, may I know exactly what happened after you enter the Bitlocker key? Additionally, may I know if you can access Safe mode?

    Hold down the Shift key when starting your computer to enter the Windows Recovery Environment.

    Read the following first so you will know what to try when you get there:

    https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/experience/backup-recovery/windows-recovery-environment

    You will still need to provide your BitLocker Recovery Key when asked.
