Hacked account

Hello everyone, I honestly don't know what more I can do. I have been hacked, I have tried recovering the account but it doesn't work. I have tried regaining access into my account by answering the questions but it doesn't work because it's apparently too little information but that's all the information I can give. I have emails sent from Microsoft about changes but when I try to review unusual activities the account doesn't exist anymore and I really don't know what else to do. Do I kiss the account goodbye or is there still hope? I have no problem providing the original account username, but right now the Microsoft username is "[Removed PII]@notboxletters.com" and I have no idea who this person is.

    Hi @Keenan

I’m sorry you’re dealing with this. The “account doesn’t exist” message can occur when an attacker changes the account’s sign-in alias.

Please use Microsoft’s official hacked account recovery process. When completing the recovery request, use a previously trusted device and location, and provide as much historical information as possible, such as old passwords, billing details, Xbox information, exact email subject lines, and the original account details. Microsoft allows up to two recovery attempts per day.

Unfortunately, this is a public user-to-user forum. Moderators and contributors cannot access or restore accounts, and Microsoft support agents cannot manually change account details or bypass ownership verification.

    Thank you for your understanding
