Hi.

On August 25th, I set up my new PC and was able to claim my one-year free trial for Xbox Game Pass Ultimate. However, I was never presented with an email or pop-up to verify my student status. I would like to receive assistance on this matter. Thank you.

    Hello @Max

The one-year Xbox Game Pass Ultimate offer included with some new PCs is separate from Microsoft's student verification programs. Claiming the PC's Game Pass offer doesn't necessarily trigger a student-verification email or pop-up.

Microsoft's PC offers are normally redeemed through Microsoft Store → Library → Included with device, and eligibility depends on the specific promotion bundled with the device.

If you're referring to a separate student promotion, you must verify eligibility through the offer's verification process; redeeming Game Pass on a new PC doesn't automatically initiate it.

First, check the promotion terms included with your PC and your Microsoft account's Services & subscriptions page to confirm which offer was redeemed.

Microsoft account - Services & subscriptions

If you can provide the link or name of the student offer you expected to receive, we can check its exact eligibility and verification requirements.
