Minecraft multiplayer is disabled despite all Xbox privacy settings being enabled

Hi,

I’m having an issue with Minecraft multiplayer on PC. Minecraft says that multiplayer is disabled because of how my Microsoft/Xbox account is set up.

The problem is that my Xbox privacy and online safety settings are already configured to allow multiplayer and cross-network play, but Minecraft still does not let me use multiplayer.

What I have already tried

  • Checked all Xbox privacy and online safety settings and set the relevant options to Allow.
  • Signed out and back into the Xbox app and Minecraft.
  • Restarted my PC.
  • Restarted my router.
  • Removed and re-added my Microsoft account on Windows.
  • Made sure I was using the correct Microsoft account in both the Xbox app and Minecraft.
  • Followed the troubleshooting steps provided by Minecraft Support.
  • Tried the other network troubleshooting steps suggested by support.

None of these solutions fixed the problem and it has now been almost 96 hours since I re enabled the 'multiplayer option' on the xbox website.

Since my privacy and online safety settings appear to allow multiplayer, I’m wondering if there could be an issue with the multiplayer privileges associated with my account.

Could someone from Microsoft/Xbox support manually check my account privileges or reset the multiplayer permissions on the account?

I would really appreciate an account-side investigation, as I have already tried the standard troubleshooting steps without success.

Thank you.
