Sending, receiving, and organizing email in Outlook.com

sometimes emails I send to myself ... go to Junk
There is another layer of filtering, at the Microsoft Mail Server level, that may be causing this. If you would please:
Open one of your messages that gets delivered to the Junk Folder.
Examine the Message Header text.

Look for a line that starts with X-MS-Exchange-Organization-SCL: . It is usually mixed in with a bunch of other X- lines. e.g. for one of my emails:
What is the numeric value of the SCL line?
Compare this SCL value with the value from one of your emails that gets delivered to your Inbox.
This is the Spam Confidence Level assigned by the Microsoft servers

Also, check for any Rules that might be impacting delivery.

There may not be a simple fix. I worked a similar case for a user who sent himself emails with web links that he wanted to look at later. Mother Microsoft would flag most of them as Junk. We couldn't find any way to make it stop. The only workaround we could find was that he had to paste the URL's as plain text (instead of links). Mother may be doing the same thing in your case, but she doesn't like your attachments.
