I've done all prompts to install and activate Microsoft 365 yet it still wont activate. Updated system. Paid on 8/24/26 Used chat help and nothing is working. Please give me a phone number to speak to a representative.

Are you using the Office apps on a Windows PC or on an Apple Mac computer?

If you are using the Office apps on a Windows device:

Open Word.

At the top right of Word, log out of Office.

Restart (not shut down) your PC, then log back into Office, is your licence/subscription then recognised correctly.

If not, log into your Microsoft account on this link, check the expiry date listed on your subscription, is that listed correctly.

At the top left of your Mac desktop, click the Apple icon and select 'About this Mac', what version of MacOS is installed on your computer?

Use Microsoft Support contact options to reach a representative:

1. Go to Contact Microsoft support.
2. Select Contact Support or Sign in to contact support.
3. Under Products and services, choose Microsoft 365 and Office.
4. Under Category, choose Activate my product or Manage My Subscription.
5. Select Confirm.
6. Choose Chat with a support representative or request a call back.

If chat shows unavailable, try again during support hours. One accepted support path notes chat availability is typically:

• Monday to Friday: 9am to 6pm
• Saturday and Sunday: 10am to 6pm

If a direct customer service number is needed, Microsoft also provides regional customer service phone numbers.

For one-time purchase Office products only, if the error says “Telephone activation is no longer supported for your product”, Microsoft provides country/region-specific activation phone numbers as a workaround. That workaround does not apply to Microsoft 365 subscriptions.

Since installation and activation steps were already tried, the best next step is to use request a call back from the support contact flow.
