You can confirm this from your Microsoft account here: https://account.microsoft.com/services Sign in with the Microsoft account you used for the renewal. Under "Services & subscriptions," check whether it shows "Microsoft 365 Personal" and the next renewal or expiration date.

To help confirm what happened:

1. What subscription name and date do you see on that page?
2. Did you renew directly through Microsoft, or through Apple, Google, or a retailer?
3. Were you previously using Microsoft 365 Personal or Family?

To confirm whether the renewal is on a personal Microsoft account and whether the subscription is active:

1. Go to the Microsoft account Services & subscriptions page: Sign in
2. Sign in with the same Microsoft account used to renew.
3. Review the subscription details.
   • If recurring billing is turned on, the page shows the date the subscription will renew.
   • If recurring billing is turned off, the page shows the date the subscription will expire.

A personal Microsoft account is typically a user-created account such as Outlook.com or Hotmail.com. A work or school account is usually provided by an organization and often uses the organization’s domain.

If the renewed subscription is listed on Services & subscriptions under that Microsoft account, that confirms the renewal is tied to that personal account.
