Edit Button Not Displaying on Some Modern Sites SharePoint 2019 on Premise

Hello,

Some modern team sites on my site collection do not have a working edit button. The issue is inconsistent, affecting about half of the existing modern team sites. All newly created team sites also experience the same issue.

1. I have full control over the entire collection, so permissions shouldn't be the issue
2. I tried multiple browsers, clearing the browser cache, and have determined that it's universally affecting all users regardless of browser.
3. I can confirm that these sites were editable a couple weeks ago, and I only began encountering this issue after pushing the following updates to the servers on my farm. Aside from the patching, there have been no major changes: KB5005653 KB5005625 KB5001974 KB5005568 KB5001945

Per YiLu-MSFT's suggestion, I ran the SharePoint product configuration wizard. This resolved the error on my test environment, but the bug persists on my production environment, so I'm still open to suggestions for resolving this.

You could try these methods to see if "Edit" button will come back:

1.You could confirm that whether these pages have been checked out by others. If the pages are checked out, you will not see the Edit button.

2.Try ro add "?ToolPaneView=2&Mode=Edit" to the url to check whether they could be edited:

3.Run SharePoint configuration wizard again.

Note :
I have farm administrator with full control permission.
I downloaded August update (KB5002001) .

HI,
We also facing the issue. Edit button is disappeared in all home pages in my SharePoint 2019 on premise modern Site.
I have form administrator with full control permission. So the permissions not be the issue.
SharePoint Update Details:-
• Security update for SharePoint Server 2019: September 14, 2021 (KB5002018)
• Update for SharePoint Server 2019 Language Pack (KB5001974)

Kindly provide the solution how to fix the issue to get edit button in my SharePoint home page

I was missing a language pack patch. Installing the language pack patch resolved the issue.
