Subject: Urgent Complaint: Unprofessional Proctor Behavior and Request for Exam Reschedule / Case Reopening – Erick Umaña Berrocal – Candidate ID:      ‎MS1101385779‎

Dear Pearson VUE and Microsoft Certification Support Team,

I am writing to formally submit a serious complaint regarding the unacceptable treatment I experienced during my online proctored exam yesterday, August 30 2026, as well as the unjust termination of my exam session.

Below are the details of the incident:

  • Exam Name:      DP-600 - Implementing Analytics Solutions Using Microsoft Fabric - English (ENU)
  • Scheduled Time: 5:15 PM
  • Registration / Order ID:                541275110
  • Candidate ID:    ‎MS1101385779‎
  • Date: Sunday, August 30, 2026
  • Time: 5:15

Details of the Incident:

  1. Unreasonable Delay: My exam was scheduled for 5:15 PM, but I was kept waiting for nearly an hour before the proctor finally contacted me.
  2. Unprofessional and Hostile Demeanor: From the very beginning of the call, the proctor exhibited an extremely hostile and accusatory attitude, treating me like a criminal rather than a professional candidate.
  3. False Accusations and Harassment:
    • I put on my headset as I normally do to listen to the call, and the proctor immediately insinuated that I was using them to intentionally block out sound or violate rules. This accusation was completely unfounded and deeply uncomfortable.
      • The proctor forced me to move to a completely different location, far away from my setup. My monitors were fully disconnected from my laptop, strictly adhering to Pearson VUE guidelines. Being forced to relocate on the spot to an unprepared testing environment caused unnecessary anxiety and stress.
      1. Arbitrary Exam Revocation Without Warning: Despite my full cooperation in relocating and complying with all demands, the proctor abruptly revoked and closed my exam without issuing a single prior warning, providing an opportunity to speak with a supervisor, or allowing me to request additional time due to the delay they caused.

As a professional, I found this experience deeply degrading, unfair, and completely contrary to the standards of customer service and professionalism expected from Pearson VUE and Microsoft.

Requested Actions:

  1. Review the Session Recording: I request a thorough review of the video and audio recording of the check-in process to verify the proctor’s unprofessional behavior, false accusations, and the fact that I fully complied with their instructions.
  2. Reopen / Free Reschedule: I request that my exam voucher/access be reinstated or that I be allowed to reschedule the exam at no additional cost.

If this matter is not addressed promptly and appropriately, I will be forced to escalate this issue publicly and bring attention to the severe lack of professionalism and poor service provided to candidates.

I look forward to your prompt response and resolution.

Sincerely,

Erick Umaña Berrocal

The reason you faced this issue is that wearing any headset or earphones is expressly forbidden for online exams.

By breaking the exam rules, your exam was revoked.
