    Hi @Gassan Elrayah

I understand how disruptive this is, especially when receiving works but outgoing messages fail. The error shown is generic, so one quick test should help identify where the problem is.

Please open Outlook.com in an InPrivate or Incognito window, sign in, and send a new plain-text email to yourself. Do not include a signature, attachment, or image.

    • If the test sends: the issue is likely related to the original message, attachment, signature, browser data, or the Outlook app.
    • If the test also failed: check Settings > General > Storage, because a full Microsoft cloud or mailbox allocation prevents sending. Also check whether the account has been temporarily restricted following unusual activity. Microsoft’s guidance additionally notes that Outlook.com will not send attachments larger than 25 MB. Review Microsoft’s official troubleshooting page.

If storage is available and the problem continues in a private browser, use Help > Still need help? within Outlook.com to submit the issue to Outlook.com Support. Forum moderators cannot inspect the account or server logs.

Please note that the @live.co.uk mailbox does not depend on a Microsoft 365 subscription. Any refund request is a separate billing matter and must be assessed by Microsoft Support under the applicable refund policy.

    Thank you for your understanding
