I have been trying to edit my account information because I can't get into the Minecraft launcher. My password and email were changed, and I have to wait a month. Is there anything I can do?

    Hi Aletia Xerri,

I understand how concerning this must be, especially when you can no longer access the Minecraft Launcher and both the email address and password appear to have been changed.

Could you please share the exact message saying that you need to wait one month, while making sure that no email address or other personal information is visible? This will help clarify whether you are seeing a pending security information change or a different account-recovery restriction.

Since the account may have been compromised, please start with the Microsoft account Sign-in Helper. Enter the original email address or phone number associated with the account and follow the options provided. If available, also check the original email inbox for any Microsoft security notification about the email or security information being changed, as it may contain an option to report that you did not make the change.

If the Sign-in Helper directs you to the recovery form, complete it from a device and location previously used with the account, and provide as much accurate information as possible, including previous passwords and Minecraft-related details.

Please note that this is a user-to-user support forum. Moderators and contributors cannot access account records, reverse security changes, or bypass a security waiting period. Microsoft Support agents are also unable to manually change account details without successfully verifying ownership.

I hope you are able to secure and recover the account soon. In the meantime, please avoid sharing the account email, recovery codes, transaction details, or other personal information publicly. Thank you so much for your understanding.
